  • I’m no history buff, and Dan Carlin’s is no historian (his words), but this enthralling and entertaining podcast is incredible storytelling, pure and simple. One of the best podcasts out there.
• Sam Harris
  • In my opinion, one of the most intelligent and eloquent thinkers out there on a variety of important topics
• Tim Ferriss
  • I always thought his “Four Hour Work Week” sounded like a gimmick, until I started learning more about him and his podcast. He is a prolific podcaster and interviews tons on interesting people
• Radiolab
  • This famous NPR show is also a podcast. Excellent production value and fascinating topics.
• Love + Radio
  • Something a bit different. I like that they often jump right into a story without much background, leaving the listener a bit confused but seriously engaged. Topics lean toward the risque.
• My Favorite Murder
  • A bit of a guilty pleasure, and the only real comedy podcast I listen to. These two ladies may not be everyone’s style, but they always get a laugh out of me. Yes, it’s a true crime comedy podcast about murder.
• This American Life
  • Another famous NPR podcast, with great storytelling and production.
• Serial
  • The first season of this podcast had me waiting for the release of each episode; the second season was interesting but not quite as compelling. I’ll be interested to see what the future holds for this one.
• Revisionist History
  • Malcom Gladwell’s podcast has only a short season available right now, but it’s a good one. He revisits news stories that he thinks were incompletely or incorrectly told.
